Leium (B)

Leium (B) is a village located in the eastern part of the Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 58 miles from Hakha. The village was founded 39 years ago, in AD 1987, by Pu Tum Bau (Innhmai) who came from Leium (A) village.

Leium (B) is part of the Cangva village block in eastern Senthang District. Other villages in this block include Cangva village, Bungzung village, Leium (A) village, Keizuan village, Chawncum village, and Tilak village.

To the east of Leium (B) village are Bungzung village, Gangaw city, and the Magwe region. To the west lie Hakha city, Tinam village, Lamtuk village, and Lungcawi village. The Tengva River flows about two miles from Leium (B) village.

The villagers mainly earn their living through farming and shifting cultivation. Leium (B) is located on the main highway road between Gangaw and Hakha.

The village has a middle school and three churches: Baptist Church, Roman Catholic Church, and Believer Church. The pastors serving in these churches are Pastor Ram Nuai (Baptist Church), Saya Lian Zam (Roman Catholic Church), and Pastor Ram Peng (Believer Church).

Leium (B) village has 56 households and approximately 230 inhabitants.
