TILAK

Tilak is a village located in the eastern part of Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 12 miles from Gangaw city. The village was founded in AD 1975 by Pu Uk Mang from Phaipha (A) village. He was joined by Pu Hre Lian from Hausen village, Pu Do Ci, Pu Hau Len, and Pu Duh Mang from Daidin village.

LEIUM (B)

Leium (B) is a village located in the eastern part of the Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 58 miles from Hakha. The village was founded 39 years ago, in AD 1987, by Pu Tum Bau (Innhmai) who came from Leium (A) village.Leium (B) is part of the Cangva village block in eastern Senthang District. Other villages in this block include Cangva village, Bungzung village, Leium (A) village, Keizuan village, Chawncum village, and Tilak village.

LEIUM (A)

Leium (A) is a village located in the Senthang District of Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 42 miles from Hakha. The village was founded 78 years ago, in AD 1947, by several clans and families who migrated from Cangva village. The founders included Pu Hreh Lo (Kawipathlak), Pu Khen Uk (Tinthei), Pu Doi Phung (Vanhlung), Pu Mang Ling (Kawipathlak), Pu Duh Veng (Innhmai), and Pu Er Kio (Innhmai).

HAUSEN

Hausen is a village located in Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 40 miles from Hakha. Hausen village was founded by Pu Kha Lung from Khuapi village in AD 1892. The British placed Hausen village under the rule of Pu Lian Hram, chief of Khuapi village.Before the present Hausen village, there was an earlier Hausen village that was destroyed by war. That original Hausen was founded by the Ceu Nak and Bokkheng clans from Phaipha village and the Hlawnca clans from Phaizawng village. Fearing attacks from Zokhua, they were accompanied by Pu Tial Hngak, son of Hakha chief Pu Lul Mang (Darkhuah). Van Mual village was later founded from Hausen, and from Van Mual, Buanlung village was established. The current Hausen village was rebuilt by Pu Kha Lung from Khuapi village.

BUNGTUAH

Bungtuah is a village located in Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 55 miles from Hakha. Bungtuah village was founded by Pu Rum Ca from Sakta village in AD 1705. The village is surrounded by six neighboring villages: Langpho, Tinam, Sakta, Lunghau, Lungcawi, and Sumsi.

LUNGTAR

Lungtar is a village located in the western part of Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State. It is situated 65 miles from Hakha and 12 miles from Surkhua city. Lungtar village was founded by Pu Kip Lian from Maukhua village in AD 1640. When the British arrived in AD 1890, Pu Mang Nuai and Pu Khua Thun were the village chiefs of Lungtar.Maukhua village lies to the south of Lungtar, while Dumva is to the southeast. The Phokva River runs north of the village and is home to many species of fish. To the east, there is Laithlopa Mountain, a popular spot known for its beautiful sightseeing and views. The western side of the village is bordered by Tikir Stream and Tikir Mountain.
