FAHAU
Fahau is a village located in the western part of Senthang District, Hakha Township, Chin State, Myanmar. It is situated 98 miles from Hakha City and was founded by Pu Sawng Ci in AD 1950.
Geography
- Neighboring villages and towns: Dumva to the east, Aika to the west, and Surkhua City to the north.
- Mountains: Tingva Mountain (east) and Lungting Mountain (west).
- Waterways: Fahau River (east), Khoiva Stream (west), Lawngva Stream (south), and Uiva Stream (south).
Education
Fahau has a middle school.
Religion
There are two churches in the village:
- Baptist Church – Pastor Za Uk serves as full-time pastor, and Pastor Mang Ting Lian serves as senior pastor.
- Assembly of God Church
The first believer in Fahau Village was Pu Cih Khung.
Economy
The people of Fahau earn their living through farming and shifting cultivation.
