RUAN VILLAGE
Ruan is a village located in MiE District, Hakha Township, Chin State, Myanmar. It is situated approximately 38 miles from Hakha City and lies at an estimated elevation of 4,500 meters above sea level. Ruan Village was founded on May 17, 1947, by Pu Lung Tum and Pu Khua Ceu.
The village is bordered by seven neighboring villages: Taung Khin Yen Village, Hantawady Village, and Halta Village to the east; and Vanha Village, Ruadeu Village, Hmaikhah Village, and Vantlang Village to the west. Ruan is surrounded by several mountains and rivers. Mountains to the east include Ngalbual Tlang, Kuhluhram Tlang, Thirkling Tlang, and Tlangbual Tlang, while Phakphava and Phusuangva streams are also located to the east. To the west are Meirova, Muidipva, Thirklingva, Kukengva, and Dongva streams.
There are six churches serving the village community:

- Olive Baptist Church
- Beulah Baptist Church
- The Church
- Baptist Church (Second Congregation)
- The Church (Second Congregation)
The pastors serving the churches include Rev. Tluang Bawi, Pastor Phun Mawng, and Pastor David Bawi Ceu. The first missionary workers in Ruan Village were Rev. Tluang Bawi, Pastor Phun Mawng, Pu Kuk Hlei, and Pu Zing Uk.
Ruan Village has a high school. The villagers primarily earn their livelihood through farming and shifting cultivation. Currently, Ruan Village has 60 households, with an estimated population of about 350.
