It is situated approximately 50 miles from Hakha City and lies at an estimated elevation of 5,272 meters above sea level. Khuabung (A) Village was founded in AD 1790 by Pu Hmun Tling, Pu Van Thang, Pu Sang Hnin, Pu Thawng Ku, Pu Ha Bawm, Pu Thla Thang, and Pu Tei Kham.
